The Concept

This retreat is ideal for those who are looking for a week of pure wellbeing with yoga,

meditation, delicious healthy food, and uncontaminated nature.

The concept of this retreat is to allow you to discover the beauty of the island and enjoy its

unique atmosphere while taking care of yourself.

This retreat offers a mix of yoga classes for you to explore different styles.

Mornings will start with a 90-minute dynamic yoga class (Hatha Flow or Vinyasa yoga) in the

beautiful yoga yurt of the villa.

You can enjoy the rest of the day by chilling in the garden by the pool, taking a walk into

Lajares, going to the beach or an excursion, practicing your favorite water sports, or treating

yourself to a luxurious massage.

We will gather again at sunset for our second yoga session of the day. This practice could be a

Yin yoga class, Nidra yoga, gentle Hatha, or meditation.

This retreat will eventually renew your energy and open you to life with freshness and joy. The

purpose is to fully relax and slow down to disconnect and forget the hassle of daily life. When

we are relaxed, we can feel ourselves again and recover the connection with our body and

Your hosts

Alida Maugeri

I am an international yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance USA, and I have more than 600

hours of yoga education.

I started yoga in London, practiced with different teachers, and completed my yoga studies in India

and Italy. I have lived in the Indian cultures between Rishikesh and Goa for several years.

Yoga, for me, is a constant process of bringing light and awareness into our body, mind, and soul. It

is to be a transformational and never-ending journey. For this reason, I like to offer retreats that can

deliver a glimpse of it; at the end, each participant can bring home a seed of positivity to implant in

their lives.

It is also essential for me to create a safe space to make everyone feel comfortable and keen to share

and express themselves.

You may find me online as Kamla Yoga. Over the years, I gained extensive experience conducting

teacher training courses and retreats. I purely love the group dynamic with its high and low.

Hatha, meditation. This session will help you rebalance the nervous system at the end of the

day, release any muscular tension, and prepare you for a peaceful sleep.

Moreover, in the evening, we will share our day's experiences, emotions, and thoughts in a

The teacher will calibrate the sessions and combine the practices according to the level of the

participants. Energy is all there is, and your sessions will always flow with it.

The Yoga Yurt

It’s a circular space containing a very special energy inside. It is nestled in the garden, surrounded by trees and the stunning presence of the volcano. At the entrance you will find a chill-out area were you can experience the peacefulness of the place after your practice.

Yogasana House

The house is nestled right under the volcano “El Calderon Hondo” in the surf village of Lajares in the north of Fuerteventura. The village (easy 15 min walk) offers a few restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, and on Saturdays it becomes a local market for arts and crafts. From the house you have direct access to running, trekking and mountain bike paths around the volcano.

The house is very spacious and modern, but still, it retains elements of classical Canarian building and every corner is dedicated to the well-being of our guests, including a beautiful green Patio garden with palm, banana trees and an herbal garden.

The swimming-pool is solar heated (temperature ranges from 21C in winter to 26C in summer).

Each room has a bathroom, private lounge área with a hammock, free wi-fi, and many of them with a kitchenette. Linens, towels (beach and bath), hairdryer and soaps are included. Washing machine is available.
