Why here?

Fuerteventura is a hidden gem, where you can truly unwind, relax, enjoy amazing scenery and nature and indulge in numerous water activities.

Ever wonder if there are any beautiful sand beaches left in the world that are not completely overrun with enormous hotels, plastic umbrellas and lounge chairs, enthusiastic beach goers and merry tourists? A place where you can run on the warm sand, swim in the clean ocean waves, take time to just be, breathe and enjoy beautiful unspoiled nature.  Would you like to experience expansive sand beaches that have stayed untouched by the tourism industry, modern fast lane life and pollution?

The island Fuerteventura is one of the best kept secrets in tourism and travelling and offers the kind of relaxation and rejuvenation that can be found in very few places today. Somehow this magical island has remained preserved while still offering all the luxuries of modern life. Fuerteventura is a perfect blend of modern luxuries and perfectly preserved natural life. Experiencing Fuerteventura is the definition of island living. Or for you millennials out there Fuerteventura is synonymous with wanderlust.

How is this possible, you wonder?

The islands climate, position and geology makes Fuerteventura a home to a diverse mixture of flora&fauna, animals, birds and aquatic life. As such the whole island was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2009, thus making it untouchable for modern construction that would in any way destroy or disturb the natural habitat …

Because of it’s position and climate it is also highly regarded for it’s clean and unpolluted air. It is said that the air here is full of negative ions (which are the good ones - electricaly charged particles), which means that only breathing here is already beneficiary to your health.

Because of the relatively small number of inhabitants, paired with the fact that Fuerteventura lies only 80 km of of the coast of Africa - Morocco to be more exact, conditions of natural light and clarity of the night sky remain intact. So this magical island is also a Starlight Reserve. That means that only few places on earth offers such incredible night sky views.

And last, by no means least - the geology. A legitimate theory exists that Fuerteventura is a part of the ancient Atlantis. It is the oldest island in the Canary Islands dating back 20 million years to a volcanic eruption from the Canary hotspot. The majority of the island was created about 5 million years ago and since then has been eroded by wind and weather. The last volcanic activity in Fuerteventura was between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago. The island itself is defined by volcanic rocks and scenery..
