Kundalini Yoga connects us to the power of self awareness, the perfect vehicle for change. It consists of simple yogic techniques which can be practiced by everybody. It keeps the body in shape and trains the mind to be strong and flexible, allowing better coping with changes and stress. Kundalini Yoga offers remedies for stress, fatigue and depressive illness and all other ills of your age by teaching that external stimulants are not the answer, all the answers are to be found inside yourselves. The beauty of this Yoga is that it becomes a tool for creating positive thoughts.

Yin Yoga
Every Monday at 6:00-7:30 pm

Yin Yoga uses floor poses held in stillness for 3-5 min (or longer), allowing these passive, long holds to strengthen and lubricate joint tissues in a way that most other practices cannot. Yin exercises targets the body’s connective tissues, including the ligaments, bones, cartilage and tendons, as well as myofascial; all mayor but often ignored components of flexibility, mobility, strength and structure.

IYENGAR Yoga with Joan
Every Tuesday & Thursday
 from 9:00am-11:30am

Poses are held for long periods and often modified with props. This method is designed to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, stability, and awareness.
What distinguishes Iyengar yoga is the very high degree of attention paid to alignment. Props may be used to increase awareness and to make the poses accessible. Sometimes, we hold the poses longer than students might be used to in a flow-style class.
